2025 Buick Enclave Sport Touring

Written by Marco Carvajal

The new generation 2025 Buick Enclave, surpasses any previous Enclave version in Performance, Style, Safety Features, and Technology.

It is a new Buick and a new Enclave, ready to compete with the most popular SUVs in the market. Drivers who need more space, size, and power will love this family SUV at a value price.
The Enclave is an all-new SUV that looks modern, elegant, and trendy. The new Enclave version is larger than ever with three spacious rows with seating for 7 passengers and a new cargo maximum capacity of 97.5 cubic feet.

For drivers who remember old Buick car models, this is not the same brand you know, it is modernizing with a new image.

Enclave Stylish Design

Looking at the Enclave you can enjoy the elegant and modern silhouette with sculpted, modern contours that give the 2025 Enclave mid-size SUV an elegant profile and stylish presence.

Expressive accents enhance the Enclave’s low, wide grille, sleek front fascia and signature LED daytime running lamps.

The available exterior lighting animation is an expressive headlamp and taillamp lighting animation that greets you when you approach or leave your car.

More premium details like Power-folding outside rearview mirrors, easily fold your outside rearview mirrors for smooth parking in tight spaces

The 2025 Buick Enclave Sport is a beautiful and attractive SUV as part of the brand’s revival and modernization.

There are only four Buick car models available, Envista, Engore GX, Envision, and the Enclave that I am test driving.

Three Enclave Models, Enclave, ST and Avenir

The Buick Enclave is easy to purchase and customize. The largest Buick SUV is available in three models. You can choose from these three distinctive trim levels with an impressive variety of options and standard features.

  • 2024 Buick Enclave, Starting at $45,000 MSRP
  • 2024 Buick Enclave Sport Touring, Starting at $47,400 MSRP
  • 2024 Buick Enclave Avenir, Starting at $58,000 MSRP

I am test-driving the Enclave Sport Touring, the middle trim model in the lineup. I enjoy the value and low pricing of $47K MSRP, giving you tons of standard features.

The base model Enclave has a lower price, starting at $45K, saving you $2K compared to the Sport Touring model, and then if you go to the top of the line, the Enclave Avenir, the price goes up $10,600 more compared to the ST.

The top-of-the-line Avenir is a very luxurious and elegant model, but if we put pricing and value in the balance, I would rather go for the Enclave ST, offering a great mix of value, luxury, and sporty style.

Driving the Enclave ST surprised me and impressed me more than I expected. If Buick keeps designing SUVs with so many features, value, and attractive styles, it will definitely take a higher piece of the SUV sales segment in the United States.

Safety Features

The 2025 Enclave not only looks more attractive and is bigger but also it includes tons of standard safety features for a safe driving experience.

There are a few optional safety features like the available Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist and the available Rear Camera Mirror that are not included, but most of the other safety features are standard included, free of additional fees, including:

  • HD Surround Vision
  • Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking
  • Forward Collision Alert
  • Blind Zone Steering Assist
  • Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking
  • Reverse Automatic Braking

Among the generous list of safety features included with the new Enclave, we can find Blind Zone Steering Assist to alert you and provide a brief, firm turn of the steering wheel when a potential crash is detected with a moving vehicle in the lane you are entering.

Forward Collision Alert can warn you if it detects a potential front-end collision with a vehicle you’re following, so you can take action. It can also provide a tailgating alert if you are following a vehicle too closely.

Front Pedestrian Braking helps you avoid or reduce the severity of a front-end collision with a pedestrian it detects directly ahead of you. It provides pedestrian alerts and can even automatically provide hard emergency braking or enhance the driver’s hard braking. It works at speeds below 50 mph during the daytime, it has limited nighttime and low-visibility performance.

Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning uses a brief, gentle steering-wheel turn to alert you when you may be unintentionally drifting out of detected lane lines, so you can steer to stay safely in your lane. If needed, you may receive additional Lane Departure Warning alerts. System alerts do not occur if you’re using your turn signal or if it detects you may be intentionally leaving your lane.

The Following Distance Indicator displays the gap time in seconds between your vehicle and a detected vehicle you’re following.

IntelliBeam Auto High Beams works at speeds above 25 mph, automatically turning the Enclave high beams on and off according to surrounding traffic conditions.

Rear Cross Traffic Alert can warn you of detected left or right cross traffic behind your vehicle when you are in Reverse.

Adaptive Cruise Control enhances regular Cruise Control by allowing the vehicle to automatically follow a detected vehicle ahead at a following gap, reducing the need for the driver to frequently brake and accelerate.

Safety Alert Seat uses left, right, or both-side driver seat vibration pulses to help you detect and identify the direction of potential crashes. You can also switch to beeping crash avoidance alerts instead of vibration.

Reverse Automatic Braking alerts you and can even automatically provide hard emergency braking to help avoid collisions with detected vehicles and objects directly behind you when you are driving in reverse.

When a Teen Driver designated key fob is used, the Teen Driver feature helps encourage better driving habits for teens by providing a report card. It also activates certain safety systems and mutes the radio until the front-seat occupants fasten their seat belts.

One of my favorite features, HD Surround Vision provides selectable digital camera views of the area around your vehicle to help you park and avoid vehicles and objects.

At speeds above 2 mph, Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking can help you avoid or reduce the severity of a collision with a detected vehicle you’re following. Radar and camera technology are used to automatically provide hard emergency braking or enhance the driver’s hard braking.

Side Bicyclist Alert tells you when a detected bicyclist is approaching a side blind zone. Also, during a brief time after parking, the feature can alert you when a detected bicyclist is approaching so you don’t open your door.

Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking can help you avoid or reduce the severity of an intersection collision with a detected cross-traffic vehicle. It provides alerts and can even automatically provide hard emergency braking or enhance the driver’s hard braking.

Traffic Sign Recognition can display detected speed limit signs in your instrument cluster. For full functionality. This feature requires an active eligible OnStar plan.

The New Super Cruise

The 2025 Enclave is the first Buick vehicle to offer Super Cruise, the industry’s first true hands-free advanced driver assistance system (ADAS).

Super Cruise is the largest truly hands-free system in the U.S. and Canada. The Super Cruise package also includes Driver Attention Assist and Enhanced Automatic Park Assist.

The Avenir trim model includes a rear camera mirror as part of the available Super Cruise package.

The new Enclave’s infotainment system is designed to give drivers the most intuitive vehicle experience.

Using the touchscreen or Google Assistant in your Eclave, you can reply to text messages, get directions through Google Maps, or control select vehicle functions.
